Village of Saint-Tropez

A Legendary Destination...

Saint-Tropez, the renowned village of the French Riviera, is a legendary destination that combines glamour, history, and Provençal charm. A hotspot for artists, celebrities, and luxury enthusiasts, Saint-Tropez offers a unique experience that captivates all who visit.

The influence of Brigitte Bardot, an international star and iconic figure of the 1960s, has left an indelible mark on Saint-Tropez. The 1956 film And God Created Woman, directed by Roger Vadim, catapulted the village to global fame. Bardot's beauty and free spirit embodied the essence of Saint-Tropez: bohemian, glamorous, and timeless.

Must-See Attractions:

  •    The Port of Saint-Tropez: A hub of activity, its spectacular yachts and lively terraces symbolize the village. Stroll along the quay and admire local artists displaying their Mediterranean-inspired works.
  •    Old Town of Saint-Tropez: A maze of cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses. The Place des Lices, the heart of Provençal life, hosts a traditional market twice a week, offering delights like olive oil, honey, and the famous tarte tropézienne.
  •    Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Church: This iconic church with its visible bell tower is a must-see. Inside, discover a statue of Saint-Tropez, the village's patron saint.
  •    Annonciade Museum: Home to an impressive collection of modern art, it highlights Saint-Tropez's artistic history, having inspired painters like Signac and Matisse.
  •    The Citadel of Saint-Tropez: Overlooking the village, this fortress offers panoramic views of the gulf. Built in the 17th century to defend against maritime invasions, it now houses the Museum of Maritime History, showcasing the region's rich nautical past.
  •    Château de la Moutte: Located in a serene setting, this historical gem is surrounded by palm trees and a wild beach. Each summer, it hosts the Les Nuits du Château de la Moutte classical music festival.
  •    Saint-Tropez Beaches: Stroll along the famous Pampelonne Beach, known for its turquoise waters and exclusive beach clubs. Perfect for sunbathing or unwinding in a luxurious setting.
  •     Coastal Hiking Trail: For nature enthusiasts, this trail offers spectacular views of cliffs and secluded coves, revealing a wilder side of the region.

Nightlife and Events:

Saint-Tropez is synonymous with vibrant nightlife. From gourmet restaurants to elegant bars and iconic clubs like Les Caves du Roy, the village buzzes with energy. Prestigious events such as the Voiles de Saint-Tropez, a gathering of exceptional sailboats, add to the magic. This blend of maritime tradition and contemporary elegance is quintessentially Saint-Tropez.
